Emmikins Early Learning Centre offers a safe, supportive and inclusive atmosphere for your child to flourish in. We are proud of our reputation within the Mitcham community for having the most dedicated, attentive and fun educators. We're family-oriented and always provide support for local families.

Our Philosophy

At Emmikins ELC, we believe in a philosophy of mutual respect, consideration, and support. We promote an atmosphere in which your child can socialise, play, and learn. Whether you need child care services part-time or every day, you'll find that our centre is a great place for your child to spend time.

What We Do

At our child care centre, we offer care and educational play for children aged six weeks through to 5 years old (Preschool). As a small, independent, family-owned early learning centre, we offer personal care with lots of extracurricular activities to keep your child active, social and learning. 

At Emmikins ELC, we offer you and your children:

  • Individually structured meal and nap times
  • Caring and experienced educators

Where We Are

Emmikins ELC is conveniently located at 694 Whitehorse Rd, Mitcham, making us easy to get to for families in the Whitehorse & Maroondah area, from Box Hill to Croydon. We are across the road from Antonio Park Primary School and are only a short distance from the Mitcham & Heatherdale railway stations.

    We deliberately chose a small centre when thinking about care for our daughter and have never regretted our decision to choose Emmikins. Beth is very responsive and has worked incredibly hard to put together a great team. The educators are fantastic - my child feels really nurtured but also stimulated by the program on offer.     Beth and her team treat the kids like family and it really shows in the closeness of my daughter’s relationship with Beth and her carers at Emmikins. Beth goes the extra mile for the children with different ideas for Christmas gifts and even went to the trouble of providing hand knit beanies one winter. I would highly recommend Emmikins to other families.
